Many rules allow cleansing type action. These include Blanks, Value Range, Master Data Completeness, Data Analysis Exceptions and Orphan Records.

When a rule is executed and there are exceptions, in the rule detail page, cleansing button becomes visible. Clicking on that button opens up the Cleansing Workbench.

User can fix the columns of exception records or delete the records. The user actions are saved in the Exception Cleansing history. If the configuration is setup correctly, then the user is also allowed to write-back the saved changes back to the source data.
